About Switchly and how we earn

Switchly is an independent guide to switching energy supplier, run from Prague and available in 20 countries. We do not belong to any supplier or comparison site.

What we do

We explain what makes up the price of energy, what to do when a fixed contract ends, how to switch supplier and when solar or a heat pump pays off. Plus calculators and a contract-end alert, all free.

What we don't do

We do not sell energy contracts and do not collect data to sign them. We are not an energy broker. We only link to comparison sites and suppliers where you compare and switch yourself.

How the site earns

Some links are partner (affiliate) links. If you go to a partner through them and use their service, the partner pays us a commission. Your price does not change. Partner links are marked "Partner link" and lead off our site.

Commission does not influence content: we write advice the way we would give it to friends. We never call a specific supplier "the best", that depends on your consumption and only a comparison decides it.
